The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released an official notification for the recruitment of various posts in Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix across different units of Indian Railways. Educational Qualification

Candidates must fulfill the following educational criteria:

  • Minimum Qualification: Passed Class 10/Matriculation from a recognized board or equivalent.
  • Preferred Qualification: Candidates holding an ITI certificate from a recognized institute or enrolled under the Apprenticeship Scheme will have an advantage.

OBC-NCL: Same as above, Maximum 6 years inclusive of OBC relaxation
SC/ST: Same as above, Maximum 8 years inclusive of SC/ST relaxation
8 Canteen staff of MB Division NR (per Supreme Court judgement) 5 years (after deduction of length of service)
Maximum age: 60 years

Date of birth of candidates should be between the dates given below (both dates inclusive): If a candidate is eligible for relaxation of age on more than one ground, he/she would be accorded the highest of the age relaxations (not cumulative) for which he/she is eligible.
